WHAT: The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) for Young Adults is an evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated adults 18 - 30, who are interested in making and keeping friends and/or developing romantic relationships. Members are taught social skills through didactic lessons and role-play demonstrations and practice these skills during group socialization activities.
These groups are appropriate for socially motivated young adults with a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, ADD, Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Depression, Tourette’s, or no diagnosis.
The group will utilize evidence based approaches, while maintaining a Neurodiversity Affirming environment.
The PEERS group will be led by a Certified PEERS group leader, Dr. Jessi Langley.
This group will have a maximum of 6 members at any given time to allow for more personalized attention to achieve optimal growth.
If interested, you will be provided with information about our intake and screening process, which consists of an in-person screening session. During the interview, we will be assessing for the adult's social motivation, to include making/keeping friends, developing romantic relationships, and/or managing conflict and rejection.

WHEN: The group is currently running. We're accepting inquiries and conducting screenings for our next group.
DATES: The current group meets on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The Time/date for the additional group will be determined. A group calendar will be provided and discussed at the screening.
WHERE: This group will be IN-PERSON at 800 Kennesaw Ave NW, Suite 250, Marietta, GA 30060.
COST:
In-person screening will be at NMPS. The cost is $150.00. A collaborative decision will be made at in-person screening about admittance to the group. If it’s determined this group is not of good clinical fit at that time, co-facilitator(s) will assist in connecting to appropriate resources.
The cost per group session is $150.00.
COMMITMENT:
Every week for 16 weeks consistent attendance is required. Exceptions to attendance and additional group details will be discussed at the group screening. Adults must be motivated and interested in attending the group. Adults must agree to participate in the group voluntarily. Parent or Social Coach must be willing to participate.
