North Metro Psychological Services is a collaborative private practice in Marietta, Georgia, providing psychological assessment, therapy, executive functioning support, groups, and medication management services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

We specialize in high-quality, evidence-based, and neurodiversity-affirming care for individuals with autism, ADHD, learning differences, anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioral concerns, and other psychiatric needs. Licensed Psychologist

North Metro Psychological Services is seeking licensed psychologists who are interested in providing psychological assessment, therapy, or a combination of both.

This position may be a good fit for psychologists who enjoy thoughtful diagnostic work, autism and ADHD assessment, psychoeducational evaluations, adult assessment, child/adolescent assessment, or therapy with neurodivergent clients.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in Georgia

  • Strong clinical judgment and ethical decision-making

  • Experience with psychological assessment, therapy, or both

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to complete documentation and reports in a timely manner

  • Interest in working collaboratively as part of a private practice team

  • Commitment to warm, respectful, client-centered care

Preferred Experience

Preference may be given to candidates with experience in:

  • Autism assessment

  • ADHD assessment

  • Psychoeducational or learning disability evaluations

  • Adult assessment

Postdoctoral Fellowship

North Metro Psychological Services offers postdoctoral fellowship opportunities for doctoral-level clinicians who are seeking supervised clinical experience in a supportive private practice setting.

Postdoctoral fellows may have the opportunity to focus on therapy, psychological assessment, or a combination of both, depending on their training background, clinical interests, and the needs of the practice. This position may be a strong fit for fellows who are interested in autism and ADHD assessment, psychoeducational evaluations, child/adolescent or adult therapy, neurodiversity-affirming care, anxiety, OCD, trauma, or related areas.

Supervision is provided by licensed psychologists and is designed to support continued growth in clinical judgment, diagnostic formulation, report writing, ethical decision-making, and professional development. Fellows will receive support while also developing increasing independence as clinicians.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completion of a doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited program

  • Completion of an APA-accredited internship preferred

  • Eligibility for postdoctoral supervised practice in Georgia

  • Strong clinical, writing, and communication skills

  • Commitment to ethical, thoughtful, and client-centered care

  • Openness to supervision, consultation, and feedback

  • Interest in working as part of a collaborative private practice team

Preferred Experience

Preference may be given to applicants with experience or interest in:

  • Autism assessment

  • ADHD assessment

  • Psychoeducational or learning disability evaluations

  • Therapy with children, teens, adults, couples, or families

Postdoctoral fellowship positions may be structured based on the fellow’s goals, training needs, and the current needs of the practice. Supervision, consultation, and professional development are provided throughout the fellowship experience.


Licensed Therapist

North Metro Psychological Services is seeking licensed therapists, including LPCs, LCSWs, and LMFTs, to provide therapy services to children, teens, adults, couples, or families.

This position may be a good fit for clinicians who enjoy working in a collaborative private practice setting and who value individualized, thoughtful, and affirming care.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Georgia license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, psychologist, or other independently licensed mental health provider

  • Strong clinical skills and sound ethical judgment

  • Ability to maintain timely documentation

  • Warm, professional, and collaborative communication style

  • Interest in providing client-centered, evidence-informed care

  • Ability to work independently while also participating as part of a team

Preferred Experience

Preference may be given to candidates with experience in:

  • Autism and ADHD

  • Neurodivergent-affirming therapy

  • Anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, or emotional regulation concerns

  • Child and adolescent therapy

  • Couples or family therapy

Associate-Level Clinician

North Metro Psychological Services may also consider associate-level clinicians who are seeking a supportive private practice setting while continuing to grow clinically.

This may include LAPCs, LMSWs, LAMFTs, or postdoctoral clinicians, depending on current practice needs and available supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health field

  • Active associate-level license or eligibility in Georgia

  • Strong interest in clinical growth and professional development

  • Commitment to ethical, timely, and thoughtful clinical care

  • Openness to feedback, consultation, and collaboration

  • Interest in working with children, teens, adults, couples, families, or neurodivergent clients


Psychiatry / Medication Management Provider

North Metro Psychological Services is also interested in connecting with psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners who provide thoughtful, collaborative medication management.

This role may be especially well-suited for providers who enjoy working with clients with ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma-related concerns, and other psychiatric needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active Georgia license as a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner, or other appropriate prescribing provider

  • Experience providing psychiatric evaluation and medication management

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Commitment to ethical, collaborative, client-centered care

  • Interest in working with a multidisciplinary practice
