WHAT: North Metro Psychological Services is pleased to offer a virtual support group for anyone in their mid-30s to 50s who identifies as neurodivergent and wants to connect with others in a safe, confidential therapeutic group space.
This support space will be semi-structured as the facilitator will lead a neurodivergent-related book club, provide additional psychoeducation on various coping skills based on the group’s needs, and facilitate a support space for participants to focus on concerns related to neurodiversity at their discretion each week. This group will focus on topics that will include, but are not limited to, naming and defining sensory needs, understanding disability and burnout, unmasking and potential grief, work challenges, and neurodivergence throughout life.
This group will be ongoing and have a maximum of 5 members at any given time in an effort to best serve each member's needs.
